Hi Had to buy a decent set as cheap tyres are a false economy.Cheap Tyre's tend to grip well in the dry but soon as it rains they are awful and potentially dangerous. If you can afford it, but decent tyres- they may safe your life, so I'm happy with mine. They are a lot quieter than my old ones and give me confidence in the wet . However ,drive carefully to the conditions and you shouldn't need to test out their grip too often.

My fuel economy has increased by 5-6 mpg but unfortunately the noise level has also increased. I had a rear wheel bearing replaced, tyre pressure and wheel alignment checked but these tyres are much noisier than my old Falken ones. The noise varies with different road surfaces and speeds and is the reason I will not buy them again, if it wasn't for the cost I would have replaced them!

Not done a lot of miles, yet, so wear not really determined yet. Motorway and side road driving all good, gave 9s because I haven’t had to, for instance, emergency brake, so not 100% tested yet. Certainly quieter than the original Michelins. Bought ahead of a 1,500 round trip up to Scotland, including John O’Groats. No issues in dry or wet. Bought after studying reviews. Happy with the purchase.

The "tyres" were noisy. i.e. when I drove out, the tyres seemed to sing like an army truck on sand tyres. This turned out to be a worn wheel bearing (but wasn't picked up as such in an MoT test a few days later). It may just have been coincidental, but the bearing was silent on driving in to the fitting centre, then noisy on driving out. What happened in the fitting bay to bring this on?

I always fit Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP PERF 2 205/55R16 GDYR EFFGR PERF 2 91V on my car as I have found these to be fantastic in either dry or wet weather & last very well . I change my front tyres every 12-15000 miles twice a year & the rear once every 30000, so I would say they lasted very well.

These tyres are great in the wet plenty of grip and stopping power intend to buy the same tyres for the back when its time to change them would highly recommend them , I drive a merc 280 V6 not the most powerful car I admit but they suit the car brilliantly

Since I'm no kind of tyre-tester and don't drive at anywhere near the limit, all I can say about these is that they've never lost grip despite being driven in all conditions, are reasonably quiet and seem to be wearing quite well. I guess that's faint praise, but it's in no way meant to be damning.

I normally buy midrange tyres that offer a balance of performance against value for money, however the Goodyear tyre offer was too good to pass being only an extra £20 a pair over what I normally pay. The improvement in grip is very noticeable and inspires confidence in all areas not just corners, will I pay for this in tyre wear or will the Goodyear's last longer, only time will tell? At this price I'd definitely buy again as they are an excellent tyre, would I pay the normal Full price? Maybe?
